In simple terms, self improvement is the act of making yourself better than you are right now. It does not matter how small the acts are, but as long as they steer to become a better you; that is improving yourself. As opposed to success, self improvement cannot be quantified. Success can be measured by the kind of job you have or the car you drive. However, self development cannot be measure in any unit. It is simply invaluable and intangible. The importance of self-improvement often goes unnoticed. We are either conveniently brushing our shortcomings under the carpet, refusing to face them or are just happy being ignorant. Truth is – you cannot run away from yourself.
Just the way learning should never stop, the same applies for self-improvement. The idea should be to focus on continuous self-development at every stage in our life and become better versions of ourselves.
Through counselling you can learn to become the best version of yourself
